The community classes hosted by Artspark will be designed to emphasize topics that are the most critical to the success of an independent artist at the beginner level of training, experience, and access to resources. Specific dates will be allotted to hosting community classes for youth and adult participants. 

Community classes focus on the following areas of study: 

• Artist Development 101: A course for the independent artist to gain understanding of basic concepts and tools to develop an artist identity. Participants will learn skills including but not limited to grant writing, branding, social media marketing, creating an artist portfolio, etc.

• Songwriting and Performance: A course developed for the independent artist to develop their skills in writing and performing their original music. Participants will gain skills in composition, lyric writing, music theory, and stage performance.
